South Temecula Veterinary Hospital Building Entrance

About Us

Established in 2007 by a solo doctor with the vision to provide reasonably priced high-quality veterinary care, South Temecula Veterinary Hospital has grown in demand to become a seven-day-a-week, four-doctor practice. We offer extended weekday hours and operate year-round (boarding care 365 days a year; closed to appointments for major holidays) to accommodate even the most hectic pet parent schedules.

We offer drop off services and day boarding, should our close proximity to wine country tempt you to visit while you're in the area! Our vision is to consistently deliver affordable tailored individual plans for each patient through the development of strong partnerships. We seek to support your loyal companions' long, healthy, and happy lives, and to reduce fear and anxiety, making veterinary care enjoyable instead of a chore.

Our Prevention Plan

While no one can make absolute guarantees in medicine, research has shown that early detection of diseases is a key factor in reducing the risk of that disease actually causing symptomatic illness, or if it does, managing the symptoms and progression of that disease.

With serial blood work at annual visits, we are able to detect rising elevations in biochemical markers for certain diseases, even though they remain within the normal range, and are then able to slow the progression of kidney disease or prevent kidney failure altogether.

In such cases, the old saying "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" is very true, as the cost of annual blood work is less than 10% of the cost of treating kidney failure, and the benefit of being able to potentially reduce the risk of your pet suffering such catastrophic illness is priceless. Through our partnership with you and advances in medical technology, we have a higher than ever success rate in being able to achieve such goals. Call today to schedule an exam and consultation where we can discuss your pet's individualized plan.
