Dr. Alexandra Brown

Dr. Brown grew up near Berkeley, California, and her love for animals began early—her very first outing as an infant was to the San Francisco Zoo. Since then, animals have been at the center of her life, both personally and professionally. Her experience spans many roles, including dog walker, pet sitter, veterinary assistant, and even an avian point count technician for a wildlife research project in the marshes of Delaware.

While Dr. Brown enjoys working with all animals, her greatest passion lies in wildlife medicine.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology from UC Davis in 2018 and went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, New York.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Brown enjoys hiking and birding with her husband, or relaxing at home with her cat and a good book.
