Martina Lucas

Dr. Martina Lucas only ever wanted to be a veterinarian. As a child, she always loved animals and had a wide variety of pets, including hamsters, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, frogs. When she was 15 years old, Dr. Lucas finally got her first dog. It was love at first sight. She is passionate about holistic and integrative medicine. This passion inspired Dr. Lucas to earn her CVA, Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, and inspires her to currently pursue her CCRT, Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist. Beyond acupuncture, rehabilitation, and physical therapy, Dr. Lucas is also passionate about Chinese herbal medicine and nutrition. Dr. Lucas joins South Temecula Veterinary Hospital after working at a veterinary hospital in Riverside, CA. She graduated in 2011, from the University of veterinary medicine in Košice, Slovakia. She immigrated to the United States soon after graduation and worked as a veterinary technician while she worked on her US Veterinary license. When Dr. Lucas is not in the office treating her patients, she can be found spending time with friends, traveling to visit family, hiking, dog training, and playing with her two rescue dogs (a 5-year-old shepherd mix named Chance and a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix named Rory).
