Dr. Dejanovich grew up in southern California and has always had a passion for animal welfare. In 1997, she moved to San Luis Obispo and earned a BS in Animal Science, then moved to Davis to work in the UCD Veterinary Teaching Hospital as an intensive care technician. She completed a rigorous equine internship in Scottsdale Arizona after graduating from vet school in 2008. We were lucky enough to woo her away from equine practice when she returned to southern California in 2012, where she enjoys hiking, horseback riding, and spending time at the beach. She has a black lab named Gibson who keeps her on her toes.
